05/02/2024 Excited to announce my BRAND NEW YOUTUBE channel. What's so exciting? Well, I'm working on bringing you a totally amazing shopping experience - online shopping videos with Instant Purchase options right in the videos! These will contain item pictures from various angles in a video format and some will have live video as well. 01/04/2023 I hope everyone had a fantastic and fun New Year celebration! I can't believe we are 4 days into the new year already! Tried my hand at designing some custom 2023 calendars - Doberman Calendar 2023, French Bulldog Calendars 2023, Seahorse Calendars 2023, Ravens Calendar and Haunts Calendar - both with excerpts from Edgar Allan Poe writings, Mermaid Calendars and a few more. I dropped a few here in the web shop for now. Not sure what 2023 will bring - might move them to their own webstore but for now I'll keep them here since there's only a handful of designs.
12/26/2022 Wow. So many clearance sales today - it's easy to get caught up in the glitter and glam. Remember to focus on quality, not quantity. I was able to pick up a few small solid wood pieces at 50% off so I'm happy with that! :)

10/02/2022 Hard to believe over a year has passed. With my mother's ongoing illness time seems to just disappear... My lab-mix Dixie passed away at 16 years old. I miss her terribly. We have a new puppy now and he takes an enormous amount of energy.

About three months ago I was visiting a Veterans' Thrift Store where you can find donated items for direct purchase along with items placed in auctions. As I browsed the picture frames I found one that still had a child's school picture that was not removed before it was donated. A sudden sadness filled me - this was someone's precious memory on the shelf at a thrift store for a dollar. Did a grandparent pass away and the item donated? I had a renewed perspective of the items in the building - I went back through and rescued some memories I felt could be saved and given new life and a new home.
